Dimensions are in inches unless otherwise stated

“A” refers to the 2639 cc engine with 2 port head
“B” refers to the 2912 cc engine 
“C” refers to the 2639 cc engine with 6 port head

CRITICAL NUT & BOLT TORQUES  

Torque wrench settings:    
     A and B  Cylinder head studs 400 lb in (4.6 kg m)
     A and B  Cylinder head nuts 900 lb in (10.4 kg m)
     A and B  Main bearing nuts 900 lb in (10.4 kg m)
     A and B  Connecting rod screws 600 lb in (6.91 kg m)
     A and B  Front cover screws (less than) 150 lb in (1.73 kg m)
     A and B  Front mounting plate screws 200 lb in (2.30 kg m)
     A and B  Rear mounting plate screws 600 lb in (6.91 kg m)
     A and B  Flywheel bolts 600 lb in (6.91 kg m)
     A and B  Rocker shaft bracket nuts 324 lb in (3.72 kg m)
     A and B  Bell housing bolts 420 lb in (4.83 kg m)
     A and B  Clutch to flywheel 300 lb in (3.45 kg m)
     A and B  Differential cap nuts 780 lb in (8.99 kg m)
     A and B  Crown wheel bolts 680 lb in (7.83 kg m)
   Pinion bearing nut 1680 lb in (19.4 kg m)
            Wheel nuts (pressed steel wheel)  750 lb in (8.64 kg m)
   Steering wheel nut 492 lb in (5.76 kg m)
